Six Sentence Sunday 12-30-12

Last Six Sentence Sunday of 2012!

Wishing you all a Happy and Bright New Year!

My 2013 will start off (I hope!) with my latest 1Night Stand story for Decadent Publishing, FROST, a Valentine's story.

Here's the luscious cover:

And here are six sentences:

Dagney’s fingers tightened on her latte, making indentations in the foam cup. Great Goddess. She was a freakin’ succubus. She’d participated in plenty of threesomes and orgies, knew every fetish and kink known to man or woman. But she’d never seen anything like these paintings in her life. The canvases in the tempered metal picture frames pulsed like throbbing visual orgasms. Maxwell Raines had come all over her walls.
Thanks for stopping by! I don't say it enough but I LOVE your comments. Be sure and pop by the Six Sentence Sunday site to read the other Six Sentence Sunday participants.

Six Sentence Sunday 12-23-12

Six more sentences from FROST, my third sexy paranormal 1Night Stand story, coming soon from Decadent Publishing. (Hoping to share cover deliciousness with you soon!)

The man was too freakin’ gorgeous to walk the planet. If he were a piece of sculpture, Michelangelo’s David would vacate his pedestal in embarrassment and shame and run crying back to the little kids’ table.  She imagined threading her fingers through those dense, midnight locks, pulling him closer, letting him nibble on her… touching the brutally-carved face, the sharp, high cheekbones giving way to shadowed hollows, bone-rigid jaw, full kissable lips.

This time, instead of fleeing, the annoying voice inside her woke up and called an audible.

Kiss me. Kiss me. Kiss me. Make me yours. Fuck my freakin’ brains out.

Six Sentence Sunday 12-16-12

FROST, my third erotic paranormal 1Night Stand story is coming soon from Decadent Publishing. No word on a release date yet...but it is a Valentine's story...so here's hoping.

The heroine, Dagney Night, is a sexy succubus and sister of Lily Night, the heroine of my first 1Night Stand, LIGHTNING.

To celebrate the brand spanking new contract... here are six from FROST:

Dagney's  heart flipped over like a gymnast unable to nail a vault as the tall hunk of ferocious male prowled towards her, radiating undiluted carnality.  Waves of pure, unadulterated lust smacked her like a two-by-four, the raw blast of desire crumpling her to the floor.
He grasped her by the elbows to lift her to her feet, his touch surprisingly gentle.
"I'm Maxwell Raines."
Yeah, no freakin’ kidding --who else could a guy this hot, this studly possibly be?
"You're late."

Here's the  blurb:

Dagney Night, a sought-after succubus, is no stranger to blazing hot sex. But as Valentine’s Day approaches, she longs for something more. When oddly erotic paintings arrive for display at her art gallery, arousing everyone who views them, she wonders about the mysterious artist who created the works.
Maxwell Raines, a fire-sex demon, lives a life of solitude and seclusion behind the walls of his compound at Sleepy Hollow, channeling his lustful impulses into his art—until his muse deserts him and his temperature rises past the danger point.
When Madame Evangeline arranges a torrid Valentine’s 1Night Stand for them, will the flames of their encounter be too hot to handle?

News!

FROST, my third sexy paranormal 1Night Stand story has been contracted by Decadent Publishing!

I excerpted a six-sentence snippet here in this space on Sunday and another when FROST was still a WIP a few weeks back.  Chances are extremely good I'll preview another six sentences this coming Six Sentence Sunday.

The heroine of FROST, Dagney Night, is a succubus who longs for a Valentine on the traditional succubus busy night of the year. Dag first put in an appearance in LIGHTNING, as sister of LIGHTNING's heroine, Lily. In fact, it was Dag who convinced Lily to try Madame Evangeline's high-end dating service, 1Night Stand.

Here's the unofficial blurb:

Dagney Night, a sought-after succubus, is no stranger to blazing sex.

When Madame Evangeline arranges a torrid Valentine’s 1Night Stand for them, will the flames of their encounter be too hot to handle.

I'm so excited you'll get a chance to see Dagney and Max's story, not only my third 1Night Stand story for Decadent, but also the third one set in mystical Sleepy Hollow.  We may run a little contest to select a  name for my little Sleepy Hollow 1Night Stand mini-series. Stay tuned for more on that.

In the meantime, please stop by the Daily Dose of Decadence blog site today.  Veronica Hardwicke, the heroine of THUNDER, my second 1Night Stand story, has a few things she needs to get off her chest. Leave a comment over there for a chance to win some goodies!

Six Sentence Sunday 12-9-12

This one's out on submission. I'm calling it FROST. (Though it could probably be called FIRE.)

The heroine is Dagney Night,  a sexy succubus, and the older sister of Lily, the heroine of LIGHTNING, my first 1Night Stand story for Decadent Publishing. Hoping this one will be the third.

She looked at the drape of red satin that curved around the unadorned bowl in the painting, and imagined herself stretched out upon the voluptuous length of slick material, naked, arms and legs splayed, writhing in an agony of lust beneath the artist’s scorching gaze. Who the hell was this guy? This phenomenal new find? This Maxwell Raines?

Dear Goddess she wanted him.

Sight unseen.

Here are the excerpts, blurbs, buy links and trailers!

BLURB:
In mystic Sleepy Hollow, succubus Lily Night put her prom date, Campbell Jones, into a coma after a night of wild, unbridled sex. She has steered clear of mortals ever since, afraid of damaging them or worse, not to mention the inconvenience of knocking out the power every time they have sex.

Successful architect Campbell Jones has lived with strange powers and a sexy secret since that prom night. He’s buried himself in work to forget the woman who’d dumped him at the ER then vanished from his life without a trace.
Neither Lily nor Campbell have forgotten that night or the love they’d shared. Will a 1Night Stand help them bury their past?

EXCERPT:
“A little higher and more to the left.”
Lily Night narrowed her eyes as the building maintenance man shifted her framed diploma on the freshly-painted wall opposite her desk. She tried not to ogle the firm ass encased in a pair of tight jeans or the way the man’s shoulder muscles rippled beneath his T-shirt.
Maybe if I pop an Altoid, I’ll have an excuse to wipe away the drool.
She refrained from jumping the handsome worker dude’s bones. The last time she’d dallied with a human, the encounter had not gone well. Vivid images of that long ago prom night bombarded her. Campbell Jones had been a young, strapping, hunk-and-a-half football player and they’d started their date full of hope and expectation and lust. When he’d adjusted the fragrant gardenia corsage on her wrist, she’d inhaled his crisp, citrus scent and thought she might swoon at the sight of him in his tux. The black material stretched across broad shoulders that mirrored the promise of the bruising man he’d be in his prime. But she’d all but sucked him dry as flashes of lightning crackled over their heads. By the time dawn painted the sky, she’d turned him into a mere shadow of his former self. Literally.
And briefly knocked out cell phone service in the lower Hudson Valley, as well.
She’d sworn off humans ever since. Instead, she pulled all-nighter after all-nighter to evade the dreams in which men called to her—and to avoid the university dating scene that inevitably led to frequent and addicting sex.
Mortals. Bleh.

And here are the deets for THUNDER, my second 1Night Stand story!
BLURB:
Lonely young witch, Veronica Hardwicke, has struggled to get on with her life after the death of the elderly husband who’d left her a fortune and a sprawling estate in mystical Sleepy Hollow. When frightening things go bump in the night on a stormy Fourth of July, who better to call than the sexy developer and contractor, Sean Jones, who's been renovating her mansion for months?
Sean may grace the tabloid pages with a different supermodel on his arm every night, but it's Veronica who drives him nuts. Ignoring his instinct to stay away, he answers her summons.
Will the thundering passion of their 1Night Stand tear down the barriers between them?
EXCERPT:
Veronica paced back and forth in the grand entry foyer of the Belmont mansion, the kitten heels of her Prada mules clacking on the marble floors.
The rest of the place might not be finished, but she’d insisted on having a few rooms completed, so at least she felt like she was living in a home, rather than a massive, never-ending construction project. Well, her contractor had insisted, even though working around the main entrance and central hallway created more work for him and his crew. But she was forced to admit he was right.
Her cell phone chimed on top of the antique credenza shoved flush against one wall. She leaped for it. Probably Geneviève, to regale her with all the fun she was having in Paris. Or Sean, to advise her he couldn’t make it after all. She sighed and read the text message on the small screen.
Congratulations, Veronica. 1Night Stand has found your date. Have a good time.
With both anxiety and mounting excitement, she stared at the screen and waited. No other info. Outside in the night, thunder boomed. She jumped then laughed at herself.
Ghosts are one thing, but freaking out at the weather now? Cripes, you really do need this date!
She let her imagination run wild, then texted back for more details:
When? Where? Who?
An insistent pounding at the front door jarred her out of her fantasy. She swung the door open on another explosive crack of thunder.
Sean stood on her doorstep, his soaked T-shirt molding sculpted pecs and abs, his drenched hair flattened over his brow. Rain poured down as he fiddled with his iPhone, a bemused expression on his face. Behind him, jagged arrows of lightning tore the dark sky. He glared at the screen, glanced at her in confusion, then back at the screen.
Veronica’s own phone pinged again. Thunder roared. She read the message in disbelief.
You’re looking at him.
