Going Cover Reveal Cray-Cray!! IF YOU CAN'T STAND THE HEAT

Everytime someone reveals a new cover on social media, I get all sorts of, "Oh, I wish I had a new cover, too."

Little did I suspect I'd have two to reveal on the same day! Two covers, and the books couldn't be more different.

Today, I was planning to reveal IF  YOU CAN"T STAND THE HEAT, my new foodie contemporary romance,  releasing February 24, 2015 from Fated Desires Publishing for FD's new special line, Give Me a Taste.

Then, all of a sudden, I got word that another cover for another new line, this one from Decadent Publishing, was also revealed today. But I'm gonna stick more or less to the plan and just go with the news on IF YOU CAN'T STAND THE HEAT today.

This one's a little bit of a departure for me. It's a straight contemporary. Not a whiff of paranormal in sight. But as my college roommate suggested, it's a "tasty piece."  And as my publisher says, lots to "whet your appetite."

It's sexy and delicious, and somewhat longer than my norm. Hope you'll enjoy reading it! I had a lot of fun writing it. Especially looking at pictures of mouth-watering recipes and pinning some of them to Pinterest. (You can go take a look at some of them here. It's still a work in progress, though!)

I think the hero, Derek Dunne, is totally delectable. So does the heroine, Lu DiCicco. Although she thought he was Grade A rat poison when she first heard his name. Here's why:

BLURB:

Derek Dunne is a Cordon Bleu-trained food critic for the prestigious New York Monitor, whose scathing review of a popular Italian bistro has driven away all but the most loyal neighborhood patrons.
Lucrezia Serafina DiCicco is a clumsy business school drop-out, working as a chef and scrambling to keep her family's restaurant afloat, after her father develops diabetes and is banned from his kitchen for his own good.
Now, with The Monitor folding, Derek is searching for his next career path and longing to get back to his first love—cooking—while Lu is desperate for an influx of cash to save the struggling restaurant…even as her father puts his foot down about non-family employees.
Derek and Lu embark on a marriage of inconvenience to save the restaurant. But can Lu ever really trust the man who nearly destroyed her family, once noted her initials spelled “LSD,” and her food was like a “bad trip?”
Or will it be their hearts on the chopping block?

Sound yummy? Coming February 24, 2015 from Fated Desires Publishing.
